Redstone Center Testifies on Priorities for DC Prevention Funding
Dr. Bill Dietz, Chair of the Redstone Center, presented testimony before the District's Public Health Integrated Advisory Committee.
This past year marked a transition for the Redstone Global Center, with the release of a new mission, vision, and strategic goals for 2025–2027. Our renewed focus centers on climate change and prevention-wellness research, emphasizing equitable adaptation. Through research, education, and cross-sector collaboration, we aim to engage and empower communities most at risk from climate-related health hazards.
“Hope is not a passive state, and it is more than plain optimism. Hope is action-oriented, and we must acknowledge the tough realities we face around climate, health, and adaptation while we work to chart a healthy future. I invite you to explore these report pages and consider how you might join us in this endeavor.”
