Symposium on Innovative Collaborations Between Communities and Schools of Public Health

On March 1, 2016, the Redstone Center hosted a Symposium on "Innovative Collaborations Between Communities and Schools of Public Health." Faculty from selected schools of public health presented initiatives in the areas of obesity, physical activity and nutrition that have been implemented in their communities (see selected abstracts). The presenters were researchers from Yale University, Tufts University, Texas A&M, the University of Colorado, the University of Alberta in Canada, and the National Public Health Institute / School of Public Health of Mexico.
