Pre-Screening of Michael Pollan’s “In Defense of Food” Documentary, Panel Discussion

On December 3, 2015, The Redstone Center held a special pre-screening of the PBS documentary In Defense of Food, a new documentary that explores the science behind the 2008 book of the same name by journalist Michael Pollan. Redstone Center Director, Bill Dietz moderated a panel after the screening with Michael Pollan, Michael Schwarz, the documentary’s producer, Debra Eschmeyer, executive director of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! Initiative and the White House’s senior policy advisor for nutrition policy, and Kathleen Merrigan, GW’s executive director of sustainability.
