On June 23rd, the Redstone Global Center’s director Dr. Dietz published a post in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health blog titled “Reducing Childhood Obesity Now May Help in the Next Pandemic.” In the post, Dr. Dietz discusses measures to strengthen the food supply chain and protect essential food supply workers in order to address the health disparities associated with COVID-19.
In the blog post, Dr. Dietz writes,
"The #COVID19 pandemic has laid bare stark health and social inequities in our country and underscores the urgent need to build healthy and equitable communities that can withstand future public health crises.”
