Redstone’s Dr. Dietz named Chair of WHO committee

On Wednesday, April 28th, the director of the Redstone Global Center in GW’s School of Public Health, Dr. William (Bill) Dietz was named the Chair of the WHO guideline development group on treatment of children and adolescents with obesity. As part of the committee, Dr. Dietz will contribute to the development of a WHO guideline on the integrated management of children and adolescents with obesity using a primary health care approach.
